PSA: If you’re thinking about adopting a cat this Christmas, a lot of shelters have “Black Friday” sales where it’s substantially cheaper to adopt black cats. Black cats in shelters have the least chance for adoption, and a lot of them end up dying in shelters or being put down. They also have a high rate for being mutilated and/or killed by abusers. Keep this in mind if you’re looking to adopt this year.
